Staff

At Barbados Playgroup we believe that our staff are not only, the key to our company success, but more importantly for the environment they create, for your children to enjoy their time at the playgroup. The playgroup believes that we are only as good as our staff, through our Human Resource Development Program we invest a great deal in our staff.

We have built a highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and stable staff team that between them boast 53 years(in 2009) experience in Early Years Education and Childcare. The playgroup currently employs 4 staff; more staff will be employed as and when necessary. The legislation requires a ratio of staff to children for 2 to 3 years old of 1 : 4 and for children over 3 years old of 1 : 8.

All members of staff are qualified Paediatric first aiders, have completed safeguarding children, food hygiene and health and safety courses.  All staff have an up to date Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau disclosure check.
