Barbados PlaygroupParents Clothing guidance for Children

We ask that your child is put in old clothes, although aprons are encouraged children will still get messy from paint, glue, mud etc.

Could you make sure your children’s clothing is easy for them to manipulate during toileting, especially during toilet training.  If you wish us to help you with toilet training would you please ensure that spare clothes are put in a named bag for your child please. During the winter months could you please ensure your child comes to playgroup with wellington boots EVERY day, and a coat please.

If your child is in nappies or pull-ups could you ensure you send a named bag with clean pull-ups, wipes, and a spare set of clothes please.

It is advisable if your child wears stud earrings (if they have pierced ears) and no necklaces please.

Could you ensure your child is placed in suitable footwear for outside play.

Could you also ensure that your child’s coat and playgroup sweatshirts have their names written in please.

Barbabos Playgroup Uniform

We do have a uniform but it is NOT compulsory for your child to wear one.  We offer sweatshirts, T-shirts and caps for your child to wear.  Please speak to the Manager or any member of staff for details.
