Barbados Playgroup established since 1989

Barbados playgroup offers "learn through play" education for children from the age of 2 to 5 years

The overall aim of our playgroup is to provide your children with a safe, secure and happy environment, in which to learn, grow and mature through play

The highly effective partnerships forged with parents and others have a significant impact on ensuring all children's needs are met. A particularly well developed knowledge of each child allows staff to successfully plan for their progress. As a result children make exceptional strides in their learning and development in relation to their starting points. Overall, all aspects of the setting are very well managed which promotes children's health, safety and learning. Barbados Playgroup is registered for 26 children and is open 9.15 am to 12.15 pm, Monday to Friday Term time.

We are registered with Ofsted, Hampshire Education Authority and the Nursery Education Grant Scheme offering funded places to 3 and 4 year olds* (*based on birthday not age – please contact for details)
